This growing family loved their neighbourhood and the lifestyle it allowed them, but were feeling squeezed in the constraints of their older home. To accommodate their changing needs, they chose to renovate. The decision allowed them to update the style and quality of their 3-bedroom home while showcasing period millwork and significantly increasing their living space. A 1,000 square-foot rear extension made room for an open concept kitchen and living space; a private ground floor office for working-at-home; and a new ensuite bathroom on the top floor. The contemporary design complimented traditional period features.
