LOCAL MASONRY AND HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY HONOURED WITH VIBE AWARD
Vancouver Island – Flintstones Masonry & Home Improvements Ltd. was awarded the title of “Best Outdoor Living Space” for their expansive and challenging outdoor living space, “Wildflower,” at the 2016 VIBE (Vancouver Island Building Excellence) Award Gala in Nanaimo on Saturday. Flintstones Masonry & Home Improvements Ltd. partnered with Jonathan Craggs for design and Capital Iron for cooking appliances, furniture and staging materials. The VIBE awards are produced by the Canadian Home Builder’s Association – Vancouver Island and are known as Vancouver Island’s premier residential housing awards program. Local companies are honoured for their achievements in residential construction, design, and renovation. The award was accepted on Flintstones Masonry & Home Improvement Ltd.’s behalf by Mike Gibbs, Production Manager and Cory Brune, Senior Project Consultant.
As one of three finalists for the award, Flintstones Masonry & Home Improvements Ltd. was selected for the award based on functional and unique design features, selection and placement of design features and materials, as well as how climatic conditions, exposure and limitations were addressed. Entries were judged by a distinguished panel of highly qualified British Columbia judges external to Vancouver Island, selected for their individual expertise.
